Hello Stentec guy's

Isn't there any possibility to prevent this forum for these spam-idiots.
It's a fact that almost nobody is writing at the moment, but for each real topic
reading twenty or more of these spams is really nerve-racking.

Hi Jan,

We already have a couple of anti-spam measures running on the forum. If we wouldn't, spam would be an even bigger problem. We are currently looking at more and other solutions to the problem.

We have been busy migrating the forum to another one. As far as we can see (for now) the spam problem is over.
This will last until other ways to spam our forum will be found off course.

We have been through similar problems.

Few tips which can help you prevent spam

1) Implement Captcha on signup
2) Don't allow users to post link on first post. Minimum 10 posts are required to post a link
3) Each post approved by moderator..if you have time or someone else willing to monitor it for you
4) Try integrating this, or similar service ( Normally spammer use same email address to signup on different forum or post similar links.
