WinGPS app for android-how to save charts on SD-Card ?

Postby Charcot » Tue 15 Apr 2014 - 00:25

I am running stentecs new app on an Samsung galaxy Note 10.1 N8020 and I downloaded the DKWImray20-charts covering the English Channel. How do I get the app to save the charts on the SD-Card rather than in the devices built in memory ? It is already complaining about the lack of space.
Do I have to root the device. It is running on Android 4.1.2
Thank You for your answers!

Hi,
I have the same problem with the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini.
It is not possible to move the Win GPS Marine lite app to the SD Memory card.
I tried to download the DKW 1800 noord and the Nederland binnen 2014. Not possible because of no free memory space.

@ Stentec: It is very important to move the app with all chart data to the SD-card or to install the app including th e chart data directly on the SD-card.

I found an tool to move the Apps to the SD, but therefor you have to modify the kernel an loose the garantie. That is no option for me.

I am sorry to say that it is not yet possible to install the charts on a SD memory card.
The developers are still working on that.

If there is any news about this topic, this will appear in the developers blog.

Is it possible to use the com port p&p blocker under Windows 7? If not, do you know of any solution to the problem with a crazy cursor due to windows thinking that the gps is a mouse
