Mike

If you us e WinGPS 4 Lite or WinGPS 4 Navigator(Demo) you can use GPS->Properties you can use the 'Autodetect' button to detect the GPS automatically. If you then start the communication(F3) you will see the GPS location on the chart.

Before buying WinGPS 4 Navigator I tried the lite version. Fabulous the GPS is receiving the coordonates from the Sail Sim.
Now I try to install stentec-dkw-world.chv (the chart I suppose) in the WinGPS; Is it necessary to use DKW builder with the .chv file?
I look for a tutorial for that.

I have found: I must use DKW Manager.

Sail Sim is great with this GPS...I can cross the Oceans!

Ehr..

Online Oceanracing ?

- auto pilot (check that)
- auto trim (check that)
- gps / nav (check that)
- need world map.. (Check that)
- a static IP from our ISP (or some way to change IP's without being dropped from an online race, some VPN?)
- default (synchronised) weather gribs from somewhere say in 12 or 24 hr rithm so all online-skippers have the same weather (up to date and synched)
- current gribs (should be synched too)
AFAIK wingps Voyager has the gribs, so sailsimulator "only" need a way to see that the gribs are synchronised.........
- multiplayer functionality

is the "yet" an official "yet" or a guesstimate?
