MBS 1.2 compatible with DirectX 9.0c?

Postby ajnasreddin » Wed 21 Sep 2005 - 11:58

Since I've had a look at MBS, I'm thinking of getting a copy for myself. However, I've had problems with the SS 4 update with the new graphics renedering technology that is using DirectX 9 (of course the problem might be elsewhere). I noticed that MBS 1.2 is still based on DirectX 8 - but will work with DirectX 9?

My computer has a Pentium 4 - 2.8 Ghz processor, Asus ATI graphics card (128 MB memory), and 1 GB RAM. It's a bit dated now considering the new set ups coming on the market these days, but still doing the job for most of the programs I use.

So, if anyone out there has MBS 1.2 could let me know how their computer is running the program, I'd appreciate the feedback.

I use dx9c.
My card ati 9800 pro.
mb runs better than sailsim
I think sailsim calculates the below waterlin and mb doesn't.
I think I remeber reading a post about it a year or ago.
