suddenly so jumpy

General question for Sail Simulator (raising sails, pulling sheets, etc.)

suddenly so jumpy

Postby chulefernandez » Sun 02 Dec 2007 - 04:27

Hi. Well, here's my problem.

I downloaded the demo about one week ago. I fell in love with the game right away, by far the most realistic sailing simulator ever done. But about three days ago the game started to get very jumpy, even when i have a 58 fps rate. The game works fine, but those little pauses (about one per second) are getting very annoying. I was about to buy the game online, but i'd like to have this problem solved before i order a copy.

And no, I did not change the set up of the game and i didn't have any other programs running in my laptop.

Help needed!

hey chuleefernandez,
my dads computer has the same problem. i am guessing its the video card. we have tried it on all settings, the thing that worked i think the best is having it full screen instead of windowed.

Hey yachtie, thank you very much for your help. Now, after i've tried the full screen option, my fps rate's gone down to 30 but it's not jumpie anymore. that simple...!
