General question for Sail Simulator (raising sails, pulling sheets, etc.)

Postby Jeroen Schlaman » Thu 17 Apr 2008 - 09:16

Hello Barry,

We are now busy creating our source-world-map using several available DEM-files. After that we will optimize and convert it to something we can render.
How the collisionmethod exactly will be it not sure yet, because we're in the middle of the scenery-implementation process..

Hello Rob,

I can't tell you anything about the releasedate yet.
We don't have new screenshots, because we don't want to post screenshots with hardly any visual changes. In the past months we continued implementing the boatphysics and the basics for the world-scenery creation process.
It takes more time then expected, but we want SS5 to be an up-to-date simulation game with some new features no other sail simulation-game has introduced so far.
