Looks nice from high altitude - but how does it look up close?

Well, this is an interesting little program. The end result doesn't look much different from the Stentec scenery designer tools - it just seems to make the landscape a bit more realistic looking (ie the land looks weathered). Of course it is difficult to get a perspective of how nice things look very close up as there is nothing (like a boat or measuring stick) to compare with what you're looking at.

The program seems to be able to run off DEMs as well - and down to 2.5 meters per pixel (according to the manual), so maybe Barry could get his mountains looking better.

It might be a thought, though, that maybe Stentec could include some tools for weathering the land a bit. It's one thing to map out a scene using topographical maps, it's another thing to give wrinkles to your landscapes.
