Hello Richard,

I presume you use SS4.2 for multiplayer.
We heavily updated the multiplayer system in SS5. The main advantage is now that users can easily create sessions on the Internet without having to configure their router. This was the case in SS4.2 (and motorboat simulator as well), so it was almost impossible for people not knowing much about routers and stuff to create a session which could be used by other people.
We hope with SS5 the multiplayer community will grow as it should be.

G'day Jeroen,

I echo that, what is the upgrade cost from 4.2 to 5 ?

Is there an upgrade discount policy for users of 4.2 ?

Would V5 run on my Dell Inspirion 6000 1.6Ghz Pentium 512Mb Ram ?

Cheers,

Paul.

G'day again Richard,

Don't know what went wrong the other night.

My end refused to recognise the servor/session.

I'll try again.

Cheers,

Paul.

Does anyone still play SS 4.2.4? I just got it thinking there was a strong online community but I guess everyone switched to SS 5. I wish my pc would run it :( If anyone wants to play SS 4 let me know.

I'm getting the error message "Cannot request Session Server version" when I enter www.sailsim.dyndns.org and I can't get past the main screen. Any ideas on my problem?
