Hi, Yes I would do so, but the server list is empty in this app...I will look for individuals to join to, but this is difficult without a working server...

I'm als very interested in the activities in online sailing in SS. I allways liked ss4.2 a lot but because of lack of online races i had to buy VSK5, in witch is an vere big and aktive online community. But after seeing the ss5 screenshots I really want to sail with ss again: the sailing itself allways was a lot more realistic, and now it looks better too.
But without online competitions its no fun of course.

Don't you all buy VSK5 now!!!!!!! Stick with SS, it sails better, so we better try to get an online active community for SS!!!!!

Well, and finally, what happens ???

Is there an active online sailing community or not ??

If yes, how could I join you all ??

Best regards

I'm up for a bit of online sailing too.

Just bought a copy of SS 4.2.4

Looks like I've joined about 7 years too late though.

Is SS alive and well or a dead horse ?

Was going to buy the newer V5, but don't think my laptop has the specs/grunt to run it.

Cheers,
Paul.

G'day Richard,

Phew! That was a quick response.

Anytime weeknights or weekends after 7pm. I am in Melbourne (1/2 hour Difference to SA) ? PM me if ok.

Are you using V4.2.4 or V5 ???

Have I bought a lemon in the older V4.2.4 ?? Seems to be an ok bit of software for its age.

I just want a good solid sailing platform for training and a bit of racing. I think V4 fits the bill ok.

I was going to buy the newer version 5 but my laptop specs suggest it wouldn't run it.

Cheers,

Paul.
