Sheets

Sheets

Postby Scott » Mon 04 Jan 2010 - 08:09

Hi Everyone,

It is my observation that in using SS5 (new user) that sheeting on the jib actually sheets on the mainsail. Does anyone else notice this?
Also it seems that the major buttons for port/stb jib sheets are over-ridden somehow (automatic is off though)

thanks,
Scott

Do you have the autopilot turned off? It's in the middle of the control panel. You'll see the text Auto there. When this is on (yellow color) you'll need to click it once so it's turned off.

The only thing I find odd about the sheets in SS5 is that the port jib sheet on the Valk does not attach to the clew of the sail. It seems to end up about 10cm-13cm inside the clew. The starboard sheet fits perfectly. I have to say this does not affect the sailing in any way at all, just a little bit strange.

We've seen the 'bug' and we are taking a look at it. We hope to have more information soon!
